living room refresh REVEAL
THE BLOG POST YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FORRRRRR….🥁🥁🥁🥁 You guys have been blowing up my DMsssss about my living room! And I was trying sooooo hard to wait until everything was complete before I did a final reveal but here we are…..YAY!!!
I mean come on…..every single time I see a picture of our new space, I fall in love all over again. I am so grateful I was able to work with some amazing brands on this transformation and I can’t wait to share all the deets with you!
I think I’ve gotten the most questions about this: our new couch! Why did we get rid of our other one? Did we hate? Why did we make the switch, etc? We LOVEDDDD our previous sectional from Albany Park! You can read all about it here. BUTTTT, I have always dreamt of having a white couch, but never thought it was possible (hello kids and crazy pets!!) until Albany Park came out with this amazing NEW fabric shade. The GORGEOUSSS Sand Basketwave fabric. Still the amazing stain resistant, spill-proof fabric just in a lighter, more beautiful shade! And when Albany Park reached out again about collaborating on this new fabric, I was SOLD!! Ultimately, I decided to go with 2 of the Barton Sofas instead of a sectional style because it fits the flow of our living room so much better and I am so glad I did! It’s so beautiful in person - it’s got these beautiful taupey undertones to it as well. Seriously couldn’t get any dreamier. And the fabric has already been put to test with my crazy pups.
Say hello to ✨BOUJEE ON A BUDGET✨ Coffee table edition. I knew I needed/wanted a 40” black, round coffee table in this space. I looked for moonnthsss & every one I saw that had the look I wanted were literally $800-almost $2k. Hard pass!! The 40” Baguette Round Coffee table from The Pop Maison checked every single box and for half the price! I also LOVEEEE that you can find it on Target’s website as well!!
My new Zig Zag Organic Modern Floor Lamp from West Elm is a VIBBBBEEEE!!!!!! She is the perfect statement piece in our living room. She is a little bit of a splurgeeee (still under $200), but goodness - she is worth it! This lamps goes anywhere and added that perfect element of organic modern/unique touch to the space!!
These are the Liora Modern Swivel Accent Chair from Chita Living! I knew I wanted the accent chairs in this space to be bright & airy with lighter wood tones & these were exactly what I was looking for!! So chic and modern! They have a unique silhouette, waterfall seat and the best part - they swivel! I just love that they added that organic modern vibe I was going for without it being too “modern".”
AFFORDABLE OTTOMANS FROM TARGET
Finishing off the living room are these ottomans! I knew that I wanted to add some more texture and warmth to our space and these pouf ottomans were perfect!! They are made out of woven natural jute and are light weight, but durable! And to make things better they are superrrrr affordable and from Target!! Again - I love earthy, organic vibes & these bring in that element of earthiness to balance everything out!
